The Avatar team returns! We will see Aang and his friends as young adults

All of you fans of the Avatar: The Last Airbender and Avatar: The Legend of Korra franchise have always fantasized about getting more content on either of those two series or finally having a new focused series with a new avatar, this time in focus to another element, following the chain of the Avatar cycle.

And now, we have some of the best possible news for all of you fans, and that is that Avatar: The Last Airbender is back! Yes, since the formation of Avatar Studios was announced, there has been a lot of speculation about projects. But there are reports that the company will be working on three animated films.

In case you missed it: Avatar: The Last Airbender-Quest for Balance opens pre-orders in Canada

During the "Avatar: Braving the elements" presentation at Comic-Con 2022, it was confirmed that the first film from Avatar Studios would revolve around Aang and his friends.

That announcement was finalized with a video starring Janet Varney, the voice of Korra, while holding a Kyoshi book.

That's right, friends, we will be able to see new adventures of the Avatar team in adult age. In case you didn't know, the only times we got to see Aang and his friends as young adults were at times in the Korra series; however, they never delved into their backstory.

This movie is the perfect opportunity to learn more about them and relive the nostalgia of these iconic characters.
