Everything seems to indicate that a Black Panther video game is in development, and it appears that EA will publish it. This was reported by Jeff Grubb, a writer, and fan of comics, through his podcast called "Game Mess Mornings."
Grubb mentioned that the game is in very early development and is known internally as "Project Rainier" and confirms that it is being developed by a new studio led by former Monolith Productions head Kevin Stephens.
But he also gave more details, such as the fact that the game will be "a huge open world," mentioning that it will be something as incredible to see as the creation of Gotham for the Arkham Batman series games. According to this, it will be a huge single-player title, with perhaps some options to play online.
In case you didn't know, no other Black Panther games have existed; however, T'Challa has appeared in other video games, such as in the story arc within Marvel's Avengers.
At the moment, it is all the information that has been given about this incredible title that sounds quite promising. Surely, we will not know anything more about the game in the coming months.
Remember that at LEVEL UP, we will keep you informed as soon as there is news about this.
