Warner Bros. Interactive’s creative director Patrick Redding spoke to IGN sharing more details about their upcoming title Gotham Knights, this time with a video revealing all 28 suits in the game.
Apparently, every suit includes different styles which offer different looks and stats, however, personalization or transmog which is cosmetic-only and doesn’t provide any other change. So, there are 11 different suit style sets which give us a total of 44 suits.
Seems like the team at Warner Bros. Interactive put a lot of effort into them as artists from Germany, Korea, Japan, US, and France contributed to the suit styles but WB Games Montreal came up with different philosophies for each.
According to Game director Geoff Ellenor:
“We wanted the liberty to make suit styles that were different from one another enough that they all had their own really strong personality. And to do that, we wanted to make sure that you always looked cool. You don’t want to end up with a Red Hood that looks sketchy because you made bad fashion choices. Red Hood is supposed to be always cool.”
The devil is in the details
As expected suit styles are fixed but have some customizable elements here and there. So, you will be able to apply colourways and change the cowl, logo, gauntlets and boots. However, parts from suit styles can’t be mixed and matched.
We will leave the video below for more details:
Remember, Gotham Knights is expected on October 25th for Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and PC.
