MultiVersus players will not have to wait long to experience the first season of this famous fighting game. All of the seasonal content, including the debut of their brand new fighter, Morty (from Rick and Morty), was recently delayed, according to Warner Bros. Games and Player First Games.
Season one was supposed to premiere in early August, but the company decided to push it back without giving a definitive date. We know now it will be on August 15, as they have revealed on social media.
“We’re excited to announce Season 1 will begin on August 15 with a brand-new Battle Pass for you to earn in-game rewards! We also confirm that Morty will join the character roster on August 23 as part of Season 1. We look forward to sharing more in the coming weeks." the statement said.

Despite the lack of details, the studio recently shared an image of some of the new features that will be included in the brawler soon.
Aside from seeing LeBron James disguised as Robin, the highlights are the two game modes that are about to hit the battlefield: on the one hand, the classic arcade mode, which will allow us to face the roster's various fighters; on the other hand, a ranked mode, which aims to be competitive.
MultiVersus released on July 19, and its available for free on PlaySstation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
