MultiVersus, free-to-play game, was the best-selling title of July in the United States

We continue with the news of MultiVersus; since the launch of the open beta, all kinds of news (predominantly positive) about the game have not stopped.

And in case you don’t know, it is at the top of the most popular games and continues to be a trend.

Something incredible is that even though the title is free-to-play, MultiVersus has been so successful that it has already managed to become the best-selling game in July.

But how? That's right, what happens is that although the downloads of the game do not count as sales, what does count are the sales of the different Founders Pack, which in exchange for $40, give you content for the game, such as the battle pass and character unlock.

According to the NPD Group, more Founder's Packs of the game were sold during July than copies of any other video game. Incredible! No?

MULTIVERSUS IS NOT CLOSE TO THE BEST SELLER OF THE YEAR

So far, we don't know precisely how many Founder's Packs were sold. Also, despite its huge success, the game is still far from being one of the best-selling games of 2022, as it is currently not even in the top 20 best-selling games.

This shows that MultiVersus is not only getting attention because it is free but that people are willing to invest money in this experience.
