It has been rumored for a year that Nintendo plans to release ports for its Nintendo Switch console of the games The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess HD. Although we have not gotten any official news or clues about this happening, the rumor still stands for many fans.
Speaking of rumors, there have been speculations that Nintendo is preparing a Nintendo Direct for September, and for this reason, this port rumor has resurfaced again, suggesting that it will be soon when this announcement is made official.
During a recent episode of the Last of the Nintendogs podcast, journalist Jeff Grubb claimed that the Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess HD will finally be announced at the Direct presentation.
