The live broadcast dedicated to the reveal of the update to version 2.0 of Tower of Fantasy, which will arrive next week and will bring a full-bodied set of new features to the free-to-play game, took place yesterday.
The two new explorable zones are the centerpiece of the free update. The first is Vera, a sizable desert where we can battle brand-new bosses, go on never-before-seen quests, and look for collectibles.
Then, floating above Vera is Mirroria, a sizable flying city designed in the cyberpunk style where you can meet other players, converse with characters, and take part in side activities like the Gachapon Machine, a helpful device for testing your luck and obtaining many free rewards, including resources for pulls in temporary or permanent banners.
In the coming weeks, Red Cores will also be able to be invested in two unique timed banners: the first will honor Ruby, while the second will honor Saki Fuwa, the fearsome ninja wielding two katanas.
Even more, any player that explores Vera has the chance to win a second free box that can be used to buy any SSR weapon of their choosing. The debut of at least two new instance bosses, presumably Puppet Singer and Abyssant Weaver, would then please those eager for endgame tasks to do.
These two adversaries will also be among the potential foes that level 74 players may run into in the Grayspace Fissure, a portal where they can battle powerful foes and win rewards.
Version 2.0 will arrive on October 20, 2022, and will also mark the arrival of the game for free on Steam; so you will no longer have to download the game from the official website.,
