One of the biggest gaming events is just around the corner! And it is The Game Awards. There are a lot of games to choose from the nominees, and in case you haven't played many of these games already, now you can.

Aaron Greenberg, VP of games marketing at Xbox, has announced via Twitter that there are a total of 15 games nominated for The Game Awards that you can play right now through Xbox Game Pass.


Geoff Keighley, Canadian video game journalist, TV host, and the team behind the Game Awards recently revealed all the nominees at a streaming event. TGA will take place on Thursday, December 8 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California, and will also be streamed live for free.

There are about 50 different games selected from the 31 categories. Some of the categories are:

  • Best Debut Indie.
  • Best VR/AR.
  • Best Multiplayer.
  • Game Of The Year, among others.

There are many video games you have probably already heard of and some that might be new for you. Next, we'll share a brief preview of some of the nominees you can try right now as part of the service, and have a better judgement over the votes for The Game Awards:

A Plague Tale: Requiem

As Dusk Falls
