Video games are great, but we also have to recognize that they're expensive. That's why in an era with so many important releases like the one we're currently living, many people think twice before paying $70 USD for a video game. There are also many criticisms about the price of video games, but a popular streamer believes that those who complain about it need to rethink their lives.

Recently, popular streamer Asmongold made some comments that led to enormous controversy. In a recent stream, he criticized those who are upset that games cost $70 USD, stating that those who can't afford to pay that amount for a game need to reorganize their lives.

"Do you think you have to be a millionaire to afford a $70 dollar game? Friend, I'm going to be honest with you. People may not want to hear it, but it's the truth. If you can't afford a $70 dollar game and live in the United States or a first-world country, your least problem is the price of video games. You need to stop thinking about video games," said the streamer.

Later on, the streamer pointed out that he speaks from experience: "You need to stop watching streams at 3 in the morning. You need to get your fucking life together. And why do I know this? From experience. I've been exactly in that situation, and I've done exactly what I just told you."

Asmongold's words resonated negatively with several players, who only point out that $70 USD seems like too high a price. Especially in an uncertain economic context where many people have other responsibilities such as caring for their children, parents, or simply saving for retirement. Thus, many consider his comments insensitive, as it makes it seem like someone who can't (or doesn't want to) afford a $70 USD game is lazy.
