Five Nights at Freddy's may be a franchise created just under a decade ago, but it already boasts 15 games. However, not all of them have been to the liking of fans, and it seems they could be working on a sequel to one of the most disliked.
What suggests this is a post from Clickteam, a studio specializing in creative development tools.
The developer surprised Five Nights at Freddy's fans because the post has lots of details alluding to the horror franchise while simultaneously seeking programmers with experience in Unreal Engine, as well as artists for characters and 3D environments.
Is there a new FNaF World in development?
In the image accompanying the post, Lolbit, a remodeled version of Funtime Foxy, is featured. Also, references to Cupcake and Animatronica (the name the game world received, referred to by Fredbear as 'Safe Heaven') can be seen.
As if that weren't enough, there is a frame on the right side of Lolbit that suggests it is a 3D recreation of one of the Byte Stores, where players can obtain creatures (Bytes) to aid them in battles in exchange for tokens.
All of the above has led fans to believe that Clickteam is involved in the development of a new FNaF World.

What is FNaF World?
FNaF World is the 5th game in the series that Scott Cawthon worked on and the first official spin-off. It was originally released as a free game in 2016 for PC.
In this title, players could explore the world of Five Nights at Freddy's (divided into biomes) and engage in random turn-based battles, as well as encounter characters and enemies known from this franchise. In later versions, it was even possible to complete mini-games to unlock more characters.
Upon its release, the game was surrounded by some controversy, especially because it felt like an unfinished experience, but its state improved with future updates. Unfortunately, one year later, Cawthon announced that he would stop working on FNaF World to focus on other projects.
The good news is that FNaF World is still available online, and you can download it through its official Game Jolt page.
