Microsoft wants to push cloud gaming even further, so it has been working on exciting new features for Xbox Cloud Gaming for years now. The service currently allows you to enjoy Xbox Game Pass titles quickly and easily without having to install them.
In case you don't remember, the company announced in 2022 support for gamers to also enjoy titles from their digital collection in this way. Everything indicates that this novelty is near, according to recent statements by Phil Spencer, head of Microsoft Gaming.
Soon you will be able to play the titles you have purchased on Xbox Cloud Gaming
A couple of years ago, Microsoft announced that its gamers will be able to enjoy their purchased titles through Xbox Cloud Gaming. This will allow to have an accessible experience on multiple devices, without the need for extensive installation periods.
The company did not give many details about this new feature, but confirmed that it will be necessary to have an active Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription to take advantage of it. Now, when will it be available?
Phil Spencer was questioned about it in recent days and his answer got gamers excited. According to the executive, support for enjoying games purchased from the cloud should arrive sometime this year, on a date to be confirmed.
With this, Microsoft hopes to boost Xbox Cloud Gaming, as we know that the service operates at a loss and is one of the least used features of Xbox Game Pass. On the other hand, it is a fact the cloud will be very important for the future of the brand, so this addition makes a lot of sense for their strategy.
Xbox Cloud Gaming allows you to run titles in the cloud from Xbox X|S Series, Xbox One, Windows PC, as well as on mobile devices with iOS and Android. It has gradually reached more countries and currently already has a presence in most regions.
