Age of Mythology is one of the strategy games that marked the childhood of many. If you are a fan of this game and would like to play it again, but with new graphics, you'll be glad to know that it will have a remaster. Best of all, it will be available before the end of the year.
World’s Edge, the company responsible for the Age of Empires franchise, announced that they are still working on Age of Mythology: Retold, a remaster of the legendary RTS. Thanks to this work, the company can now confirm that the remaster will arrive before the end of the year.
According to the official announcement, Age of Mythology: Retold will arrive on Xbox consoles and PC through the Xbox app and Steam. Thus, it will be the first time that Age of Mythology is available on consoles.
Also, it was announced that Age of Mythology: Retold will be available on Xbox Game Pass. Since it is a release from Xbox Game Studios, this RTS will be available on the subscription service on both consoles and PC from its launch.

What is Age of Mythology: Retold?
As mentioned earlier, Age of Mythology: Retold is a remaster of the classic Age of Mythology that debuted in 2002. Among its novelties, this new version will feature a completely revamped graphic design with new models and effects.

According to World's Edge, the gameplay system of Age of Mythology will also be adjusted in its Retold version. That being said, the changes it will present are unknown.
