Fortnite and Star Wars have had multiple crossovers, which has made possible the arrival of iconic characters from the Disney saga to Epic Games's Battle Royale. The companies have just strengthened ties, so they are already preparing another collaboration between their popular sagas.
This morning, they confirmed that Fortnite will be getting a Chewbacca skin very soon as May the 4th is very close. The interesting thing is that Chewbacca will not be alone, as they already leaked other characters that will join the Battle Royale universe.
Fortnite will receive Chewbacca and more Star Wars characters
Epic Games confirmed and revealed a few moments ago the cool Chewbacca skin coming to Fortnite. Han Solo's faithful companion will be available in the Battle Royale starting May 3, that is, a day before the start of the Star Wars celebrations.
What's interesting is that prominent leakers claim that the Wookie won't be the only new character in the upcoming collaboration. Well-known insider Shiina shared an interesting list of skins that will also supposedly be arriving and will undoubtedly excite fans.
According to his sources, Lando Calrissian and Leia Organa, in her rebel facet, will also join the fights of Epic's popular title. It also mentions that an outfit of the AWR Troopers will be available to players.
Each outfit is expected to have its LEGO variant and various Star Wars elements, such as light swords, will arrive in LEGO Fortnite to celebrate the franchise's day. Below you can see the Chewbacca skin:
