YouTube, the popular video platform from Google, has a new feature that will fascinate gamers. For months, there have been hints about the arrival of video games to the service as part of a project called Playables.

There is good news for YouTube users, as this new feature is already available in some regions and will soon be rolled out to more countries. Thanks to this, users can enjoy over 70 games for free if they get bored of watching videos.

Playables is a new feature on the platform that offers a selection of arcade-style games that can be enjoyed from the service's app. It is currently available in most parts of the world; however, some countries have yet to receive it.

Don't worry, it's only a matter of time before it becomes available in all regions. At the time of writing, it offers a selection of approximately 75 games that can be enjoyed for free from the service's app.

So, what kind of titles does the service's app offer? Naturally, you shouldn't expect major productions, as the initial catalog is quite modest. It includes titles like Angry Birds Showdown, Cut the Rope, Words of Wonder, and other similar games.

For now, it's unclear what Google's plans are for the future of Playables, so we don't know if the feature will receive more titles in the future. The company might follow the plans of Netflix and other platforms to offer attractive indie games on its service, but nothing is confirmed yet.

The games can be enjoyed on a computer or on iOS and Android devices. To access them, simply visit YouTube's homepage and open the Playables section in the Explore menu. You can also go directly to the games section via this link.

If you don't see any titles yet, it means Playables hasn't reached your region yet, so you'll need to be patient and wait just a little longer. YouTube has invited players to give their feedback on this new feature to improve it in the future.
