PlayStation Plus continuously refreshes its game catalog with titles from major studios. Unfortunately, Sony’s service also loses interesting games each month. October will be no exception, as we now know that 10 titles will leave the subscription platform.
Next month, PlayStation Plus will lose an acclaimed exclusive and games from Capcom, Warner Bros., Square Enix, and more companies known for their high-quality productions, which undoubtedly add value to subscription services.
PlayStation Plus will lose these 10 games in October
Services like Xbox Game Pass stand out because brand exclusives remain in the game catalog forever, with very few exceptions. However, that’s not the case with PlayStation Plus, which has already lost titles like Horizon Forbidden West and other productions from PlayStation Studios.
In a few weeks, users will no longer be able to enjoy LittleBigPlanet 3, a game developed by Sumo Digital and distributed by Sony Interactive Entertainment. It’s unclear whether this entry will return to PlayStation Plus in the future.
There’s also bad news for fans of Square Enix and Dragon Quest, as several entries from the JRPG series are set to leave the service, including Dragon Quest Builders, Dragon Quest Heroes, and Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age.
Other notable games leaving the catalog include The Evil Within, Toukiden Kiwami, and Ultra Street Fighter 4. Lastly, like Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation Plus will also lose Gotham Knights, which made its way to subscription services after a mixed reception.
