PlayStation 5 players can heat up pizza with their console while having fun thanks to this crazy accessory

Companies know that many players enjoy their gaming sessions more with a bit of their favorite food. With this in mind, a company decided to launch a crazy and unusual accessory for PlayStation 5. It’s the PIZZAWARMR, which allows players to heat up pizza slices using the heat generated by Sony's console.

This unique project was the idea of Pizza Hut Canada, which designed and created the PIZZAWARMR using 3D printing. The company wants every gamer to have the accessory at home and use it with their PS5, so it released the design for those interested to print their own.

The PIZZAWARMR is an accessory placed on top of a horizontally positioned PlayStation 5. Players can place several pizza slices inside to warm or keep them at a good temperature thanks to the console's heat.

Pizza Hut claims that its unique product is the result of a combination of “science and engineering,” with the sole purpose of offering “great pizza” to players using Sony’s console.

"Upgrade your console with the hottest pizza warming technology. Using the warmth from your gaming system to keep your slices warm while you play. Pulling inspiration from Pizza Hut's red roof, the lid seamlessly opens like a laptop for easy pizza access."

“Designed to snugly affix to the top of your gaming console, with a tray that fits several slices. It won't go anywhere, and you won't have to either to grab warm pizza while you play. Channeling warmth from the gaming console's warm air pipe straight to your pizza slices. Science and engineering for the greater good - great pizza,” reads the description.

PS5 and pizza have a long history

For some reason, this isn’t the first time pizza has been associated with the PlayStation 5. In case you don’t remember, the development kit for the system drew attention for its peculiar appearance, as it seemed designed like a pizza warmer. For this reason, players began calling it the PizzaStation 5.

In fact, several development kits of the console have been sold on online stores like eBay and are even promoted as the PizzaStation 5. One player sold their unit for $6050 USD and included several frozen pizzas and a spatula with the brand logo.
